Online Security:
Lots of people worry about buying on-line, but it really is a very straight forward and secure process, as long as you follow some basic security rules:
-
Don't give out your Pin number to anyone: bona-fide websites will not ask for your pin number or passwords, they will only require your credit card number, the 3 digit-security number, card-holder address and the name on the card. Everything else is explained in the Sage Pay system itself as you go through the payment process.
-
Don't respond to emails requesting you to confirm card/account details: Bona-fide websites will not send you emails asking you to confirm passwords or card details.
Buggysnuggle uses the largest industry leading card payment processor, Sage Pay so that your payment details are guaranteed secure. Only Sage Pay verify your details, no one at Buggysnuggle ever gets to see or access your card details.
Frequently asked Questions:
Q: Will the Buggysnuggle fit my pushchair?
A: Our new design Buggysnuggle fits 99.9% of pushchairs – I would say ALL pushchairs but that’s just asking for trouble! The top can either be hooked over the back of the seat or tied to the handles, or both. The new vertical slits allow for the shoulder to waist straps to be pulled through without undoing them – very, very quick & easy to fit! Here is a list of pushchairs which we know or people have told us work perfectly with the Buggysnuggle (please note: it is not a definitive list, so please don’t worry if yours isn’t listed!): Mountain Buggy, Phil n Teds Sport, Bugaboo Cameleon & Bee & Donkey, Out n About Nipper, Babyjogger City Mini & City Select, Maclaren Quest & Techno, Icandy Peach, Babystyle Oyster, Jane Energy & Nomad, Obaby Atlas, Silvercross Pop Vogue, Maxi Cosi Loola & Noa, Quinny Zapp & Speedi & Buzz, Uppababy Glite, Mutsy Urban Rider, Mamas & Papas Cruise & Ultima & Sola & Kato & Pulse & Joolz, Britax B Smart & Vigour, Easywalker, Bike trailers (!), Chicco Liteway – I will add more as I get them!
Q: Why are there different price Buggysnuggles? What is the difference?
A: All the Buggysnuggles are the same basic shape & design. The price difference is purely down to the fabric costs. All have 4 layers of fabric (2 on top, 2 underneath) and all the fabrics are top quality, it is just that some fabrics cost more than others.
Q: To what age will the Buggysnuggle fit my child?
A: The Buggysnuggle is 100cm long and 46cm wide, one of the largest footmuffs on the market. It will fit until at least age 3 years of age. I have had 3 boys and all 3 used theirs until they outgrew their pushchair (almost 4 years old) and my current 7 year old is always climbing in his sister’s Buggysnuggle (though it’s a bit of a squeeze!) If in doubt I would recommend the Simple Buggysnuggles for older children as the fabric is more stretchy.
Q: How warm are the Buggysnuggles?
A: As a rough guide the Simple Buggysnuggles are around 3 tog (perfectly warm enough for a typical British winter). The Fur Buggysnuggles are around 4 tog. The Luxury Fur Buggysnuggles are around 5 tog. If it’s a really cold day I would recommend your baby wearing a fleece or coat as well as being inside the Buggysnuggle when you are outside. It’s always important to remember to remove your child’s outer clothes if you then go into a warm environment such as a shop, you can also unzip the top half of the Buggysnuggle.
Q: Are the Buggysnuggles waterproof?
A: We do a range of Explorer Buggysnuggles which are waterproof on the outside (though we still recommend a rain cover as your baby won’t be protected on their top half!) However all the Buggysnuggles will protect your baby from a light shower as there are 2 layers of non-absorbent fabric for the rain to get through!
Q: Are all the Buggysnuggles machine washable?
A: Almost all Buggysnuggles are machine washable at either 30 or 40 degrees. Some can be tumble dried and some are dry flat. The care label can be found either inside the top of the pocket or in the centre back panel, or on the website under the product description. The only exception is the luxury fur which can be hand washed or specialist wet cleaned only (and cool tumble dried).
